What’s new
What has changed in Stori3D, newest first.
4 Nov 2026
- Teleport between panoramas: moving to another panorama now stretches the picture into streaks of its own colours and snaps into the next one. Existing links get it straight away. A downloaded tour needs downloading again. See Tours, VR and AR.
- Realistic panorama tours don't start over: finished views are kept, so a cancelled tour carries on where it stopped and unchanged views aren't rendered twice. After changing the model you choose which to keep. The time left is now right from the start, and tours run a little faster. See Tours, VR and AR.
- Panorama tour links: share a 360° tour as a link, with no account or download for visitors and no model sent out. You can still download it as a file. See Tours, VR and AR.
- Realistic panorama tours: path trace a tour's panoramas, or keep the Quick ones the viewport draws. Ultra-realistic is coming soon.
- A clearer Tours dialog: a tab each for walkthroughs and 360° panoramas, views picked by their pictures, and sharing in one place.
- Moving round a panorama tour: hotspots now turn, move in and fade to the next panorama, which opens facing the way its saved view looks rather than at a wall.
- Cleaner realistic panoramas: denoising no longer leaves faint shapes from an ordinary view of the room on 360° images, and a project with no sky no longer gets a black one. See Rendering.

- Edit together: teammates with the same project open now see each other's changes within a moment, each with their own undo. See Sharing and review.
29 Oct 2026
- Quick and Architect: two ways to work on the same model, switched from the top bar. Quick has a short labelled toolbar for rooms, walls and paint, and fewer menus, each with More ▸ and Find any command… for the rest. Architect has SketchUp's menus, toolbars and keys. See Quick and Architect.
- The Room tool: two corners, or a typed size, give walls, a floor and a name in one step. Rooms side by side share their walls. See Walls and rooms.
- Paint by room: one click paints a room's walls, its floor or the outside walls, named and tinted before you click. Rooms, walls, floors and roofs list their finishes in Properties. See Materials and finishes.
- A roof over the whole building, floors for closed rooms and Keep placing for doors and windows: switches on each tool's bar. See Levels, roofs and stairs.
- SketchUp's toolbars: View → Toolbars… in Architect has Getting Started, Large Tool Set, Views, Solid Tools and the rest, and a status bar keeps the Measurements box on. See Coming from SketchUp.
