01What we collect
- Your account
- Your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your profile photo.
- Your work
- The projects you save to the cloud, their versions, your comments, your saved views and your custom library items.
- Teams
- The teams you're in, your role, and invitations sent to your email address.
- Presence
- While you have a team project open, your teammates see your name, where you're looking in the model and what you've selected. It's deleted when you leave.
- Guests on review links
- The name you enter and your comments.
We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell your data. Usage statistics are collected only if you allow them (see below).
02Where it's kept
Accounts and cloud projects are stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud), in the asia-south1 region (Mumbai). Your browser also keeps a local copy of the open project so you can work offline.
03Other services the app uses
- Sign-in, storage and hosting (Firebase).
- Maps and terrain
- Only when you use the Site panel: map tiles and address search from MapTiler or OpenStreetMap (Nominatim), terrain from public elevation tiles on Amazon Web Services, and neighbouring buildings from OpenStreetMap (Overpass). The address you search for and the map area you view are sent to these services.
- AI agents
- Only if you connect one: your AI tool (for example Claude, Codex or Cursor) receives what it asks Nexus3D for, under that provider's own privacy policy.
04Usage statistics
The app and this website ask before collecting any. If you allow them, Google Analytics (through Google Firebase) records:
- What you use
- The pages you open, and the main steps in the app: for example signing up, creating a project, sharing a link, exporting or connecting an AI agent. Never your projects' content, names, email addresses or ids.
- Your device
- Browser, operating system, screen size and approximate country (worked out from your IP address, which isn't stored).
- A random identifier
- Kept in a cookie (
_ga), to tell new visitors from returning ones.
Google signals and ad personalisation are off, and nothing is collected on the share, tour and review links you send to others. Google keeps the individual records for 2 months; we see only totals.
You can change your choice at any time: in the app under Settings → Privacy, and on this website with "Usage statistics" at the bottom of the page. Turning statistics off deletes the cookie.
05Who can see your work
Only you, unless you share it: the members of a team see its projects, and anyone with a share, tour or review link sees what that link shows.
06Your choices
You can export and delete your projects at any time, leave teams, stop share links, and turn usage statistics on or off. To delete your account and its data, contact us.
